This is what we do. Cloud-hosted phones built on Intermedia Unite, designed and supported by a team that cares about your business and the customers who depend on it. Here's what you actually get and how it works.
RTD is an Intermedia partner. Every cloud phone we deploy runs on Intermedia Unite, an enterprise-grade unified communications platform that Intermedia itself has been J.D. Power certified on for technical support nine years running.
That matters because the platform itself does the heavy lifting: redundant data centers, automatic software updates, security certifications (SOC 2, HIPAA-eligible configurations), 99.999% uptime SLA. RTD's job is to design your specific setup on top of it, deploy it cleanly, and support you afterward.
One vendor, end to end. You call RTD for cabling questions, deployment, training, billing, and support. We handle the underlying carrier and platform on your behalf.
Everything below ships with the standard Intermedia Unite Pro license. No add-ons, no upsells, no surprise line items. Pro is the tier we recommend for most businesses.
Brand new, or port your existing line. Toll-free, DID, fax, all supported.
Genuinely free with a 12-month service commitment. After that, the device is yours, no strings.
Same number rings on the desk phone, the iPhone, Android, laptop, iPad, and the web. Pick up wherever you are.
Plus 33 international countries included at no extra cost. Outside the list is billed at low per-minute rates.
Audio attachment plus an AI-transcribed text version. Read it like a text message instead of dialing in.
500 texts per user per month from your business number, on any device. Your personal cell stays private.
Every call captured, transcribed, and searchable for the first month. Recording can also be turned off entirely if you prefer.
Automatic post-call summaries, action items, and conversational insights. Built in.
HD video, screen share, AI-enabled. No separate Zoom subscription needed.
Built into the same platform so everything lives in one place.
Basic press-1, press-2 routing comes with the license. RTD's custom AI-voiced auto attendant is a separate scope.
Built-in for Salesforce, HubSpot, ServiceNow, Zoho, Zendesk, MS Dynamics, NetSuite, Sugar CRM.
These are scoped and quoted separately because they vary so much customer to customer:
You're typically live on the cloud platform in 2 to 3 days, with full native number porting completing within 2 to 5 weeks in the background. You don't wait for the second part to start using the system.
On day one we set up the platform: phones, calling features, voicemail, mobile and desktop apps. Within 2 to 3 days we route inbound calls from your existing carrier to your new cloud lines via port-to-forward. Callers reach you on the new system immediately. They have no way of knowing the call was forwarded. Your team is using the new platform on day three.
The actual number porting paperwork runs in parallel and takes a minimum of roughly 10 business days with the losing carrier. That timeline is not under our control. Bigger projects (multiple sites, AI auto-attendant, custom voiceover, deeper integrations) push closer to the 5-week end.
The old system stays live throughout. No downtime. Most legacy providers quote 6 to 8 weeks just to get you to day one.
Note for teams of 6 or more: the 2 to 3 day quick path is intended for very small offices (up to 5 users). Larger deployments get a managed full-company migration that scopes properly and avoids surprises. Either way, the underlying timeline above still applies.
Cloud voice on Intermedia Unite is built to be the most reliable piece of your communications stack, not a fragile experiment.
Because cloud voice runs over the internet rather than a fixed wire, 911 emergency calls route to local responders based on the address you have registered with us. If you move a phone or open a new location, you must let RTD know so we can update the 911 registration. See Terms section 10 for the full obligation. This is the single most important thing to remember about cloud voice.
Monthly per-user is the one number we publish openly. Everything else gets a quick conversation and a written quote tailored to your team.
The published Intermedia Unite Pro rate is $27.99 per user per month. We typically tell customers to plan on roughly $30 because federal regulatory fees, state taxes, and local surcharges vary by location and can push the actual bill a little above $27.99. Both numbers are honest. The "around $30" framing absorbs the variance so there's no surprise when the first bill arrives.
All-in at that monthly rate, every user gets everything in the included list above. No upsells.
Essential (budget tier) is lower per user. Enterprise (power-user tier) is higher per user. We write a quote for those rather than publishing a number, because the right tier really depends on the user. Mix-and-match is fine: some users on Pro, some on Essential, some on Enterprise.
Many of our small business customers start with just one Pro license to prove out how cloud voice fits their workflow, then add users, custom AI auto-attendant, archiving, or call center features as the business grows. There's no requirement to buy a fully loaded setup on day one. The platform is built so features can be added and removed over time without re-platforming.
Setup covers porting the existing number, setting up the account, ordering the phone, and producing initial recordings. The total depends on how many users you have and what each user needs. That's why we scope it during a quick conversation and put the firm number in your written quote rather than quoting a one-size-fits-all setup fee.
There are other Intermedia partners. Here's what makes RTD different.
The fastest way to know whether cloud voice on Intermedia Unite makes sense for your business is a 15-minute conversation. We'll scope it honestly, follow up with a written quote within two business days, and let you decide from there. No pressure, no obligation.
Two-business-day turnaround on every inquiry. Real humans, no auto-responders.
